Mobile giant Safaricom has rewarded athlete Faith Kipyegon with Sh2 million for shattering two World Records in the 1500m and 5000m races during the Diamond League.
The telecommunications giant celebrated Kipyegon’s remarkable accomplishments in a ceremony held on Monday, where her achievements were commended and recognized.
As part of the tribute, Safaricom unveiled a captivating wall mapping display of Kipyegon at their 29-floor skyscraper located in the heart of the central business district.
The presence of her image serves as a testament to her outstanding athletic prowess and contribution to putting Kenya on the global sporting map.
During the ceremony, Safaricom CEO Peter Ndegwa expressed his admiration for Kipyegon and praised her for elevating Kenya’s reputation in the world of athletics.
