The United States government rejected 42 percent of visa applications from Kenya, 10 percent from South Africa, 26 percent from Nigeria, 25 percent from Ethiopia, and 63 percent from Rwanda in 2022.
This is according to data from the World Of Statistics.
The US also rejected 26 percent of applications from Russia and 41 percent from Ukraine. The two countries have been entangled in a war since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022.
The United States is backing Ukraine in the dispute.
