Renowned gospel DJ, Fredrick Karumba, professionally known as DJ Krowbar, has reached out for financial assistance to aid his wife’s ongoing health struggle.
The DJ took to social media to disclose that his spouse, Wanjiru Karumba, has been enduring a challenging battle against kidney disease, requiring a vital transplant.
In a united statement, the couple shared that Wanjiru has been engaged in a strenuous fight against the disease, and she currently finds herself in the advanced stages of treatment, necessitating a minimum of Sh6 million.
“As this journey commenced, I vividly recall joining hands with my wife, declaring, ‘One day, we shall witness the conclusion of this ordeal.’ Now, that day is within sight, and we humbly ask for your prayers and financial support to help us manifest this miracle,” Krowbar expressed in one of his online posts.
In a heartfelt video, the DJ extolled his wife’s tenacity, portraying her as a hero throughout her arduous battle with the disease.
“Two years ago, my wife was diagnosed with kidney failure. The path has been incredibly challenging, but now we glimpse a beacon of hope. Heroes don’t always wear capes; they resemble this extraordinary person, this is Mercy,” Krowbar affirmed.
Back in 2017, the couple relocated to South Africa, with DJ Krowbar pursuing advanced studies in Audio Engineering at the esteemed Sound and Engineering (SAE) Institute of South Africa.
During this period, Wanjiru, a skilled fashion designer, continued to contribute to her craft as her husband pursued his education. Subsequently, they returned to Kenya, only for Wanjiru to be diagnosed with the ailment.
