The residents of Kapsara village in Transzoia have been left in shock after a man was caught red handed raping an ewe.

The bizzare crime was discovered by one Samuel Ndungu who was passing by Paul Karanja’s house when he heard a sheep bleating loudly.

When he opened the door, Ndungu saw Karanja lying on the ground while holding a sheep tightly next to his waist.

He rushed to the nearby Kapsara Police Station and reported the matter on OB number 08/26/08/2023.

Police from the station then accompanied Ndungu to Karanja’s house where they found the sheep already dead with blood and whitish discharge coming out of its vulva.

Karanja had blacked out and was lying next to the dead sheep.

Police called for an ambulance which took Karanja to the nearby Kapsara Hospital where doctors established that he was heavily intoxicated.

He was left to regain consciousness before being arrested and taken to the Kapsara Police Station.

He would be charged on Monday for performing an unnatural act with an animal among other charges.

The owner of the sheep is yet to be identified
