Rekles has officially left GengeTone group Ethic. His exit has been confirmed by the group’s management.

This marks a significant turning point for the group that has redefined the Kenyan sound and contributed immensely to the global music scene. From humble beginnings in Umoja Estate, Ethic Entertainment emerged as a beacon of creativity, originality, and dreams realized. Comprising of Swat, Zilla, Seska, and Rekles, the group introduced the world to the unique Gengtone genre with the release of their breakthrough track “Lambalolo,” created on nothing more than a mobile phone.”
Ethic recognized Rekless as an artist who played a big role and contributed greatly to the group’s growth. The remaining members: Swat, Seska and Zilla promised to continue making more music.

Ethic Entertainment said they remain committed to their mission of pushing musical boundaries, uplifting voices, and creating a lasting legacy as they bid farewell to Rekless.
