Sauce.co.ke ranked no. 14 on Feedspot’s top 25 news websites in Kenya

Kenya’s fastest growing digital news website sauce.co.ke has achieved a significant milestone by securing the 14th position in Feedspot’s prestigious top 25 Kenyan news websites list.

The Founder of Feedspot, Anuj Agarwal, personally congratulated the team at sauce.co.ke for their outstanding contribution to the world of online news and journalism.

In a letter addressed to sauce.co.ke, Feedspot’s CEO Anuj Agarwal expressed his gratitude for the website’s presence on the list.

Feedspot, curates content from various websites and podcasts. It boasts an impressive collection of over 250,000 websites and podcasts listed on its site.

With more than 120 million users visiting Feedspot lists and over 30 million users directed to publishers’ websites from these lists, it has become a reliable source for discovering quality content on the web.

Rankings are based on traffic, relevancy, posting frequency, social media followers, engagement, domain authority, site’s age and Alexa web traffic rankings.

“Sauce.co.ke was created during a lunch outing by a group of journalists who realised that from their decades experience in main stream media that there is a demand for content that is immediate, mobile friendly, interactive, hyper textual, visual and published in real time,” said the team at sauce.co.ke

“We also wanted to create a platform that is owned by journalists where they can practice their craft without being hindered by political or commercial interests.”

Sauce.co.ke, which began after months of deliberation as a Facebook page in October 2022 before becoming a news website has rapidly gained popularity among news enthusiasts for its quick, verifiable and unmatched reporting. It also runs TikTok and YouTube pages.

Today, sauce.co.ke which receives over 20,000 unique visitors per day publishes a diverse range of stories ranging from politics, security, business, climate, analysis, opinions, sports and entertainment.
