Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have joyously welcomed their first child together.
The celebrity couple, Kourtney Kardashian, aged 44, known for her appearances on the Kardashian family’s reality TV show, and Travis Barker, aged 47, the renowned Blink-182 musician, shared their exciting news in June when they revealed they were expecting a baby boy at a reveal party.
Kardashian celebrated the event by recreating a sign from Blink-182’s “All the Small Things” music video during one of the band’s summer concerts.
In September, the couple faced a challenging moment when Kardashian underwent emergency fetal surgery that ultimately saved their child’s life. This came shortly after Blink-182 had to postpone several European concerts due to an “urgent family matter.”
Kardashian expressed her gratitude to her medical team, her husband Travis Barker, who left his tour to be by her side during the hospital stay, and her mother for their support during this trying time.
She shared, “As someone who has had three really easy pregnancies in the past, I wasn’t prepared for the fear of rushing into urgent fetal surgery. I don’t think anyone who hasn’t been through a similar situation can begin to understand that feeling of fear. I have a whole new understanding and respect for the mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant.”
The new mom concluded with a heartfelt expression of gratitude and joy for the safe delivery of their baby boy.
Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker, who got married in 2022, have openly discussed their desire to have children together and documented their IVF journey on the reality series “The Kardashians.”
They both already have children from previous relationships, with Kardashian having three kids and Barker being a father of three, making their family even larger and more complete with their new addition.
