2 people have been reported dead while another 20 sustained injuries when a Mash Poa bus rammed into a trailer on the busy Nairobi- Malindi route at Taru Area along Mombasa Road on Sunday December 24.
According to police reports, the Mash Poa bus which was ferrying passengers from Nairobi to Malindi is reported to have collided with a trailer heading to Nairobi. At the time of the crash, the bus was carrying 49 passengers.
The injured persons were rushed to Samburu Sub County Hospital for treatment.
The bodies of the two deceased persons were transported to Kinango Sub-county Hospital Mortuary pending identification by their families.
