Comedian Eric Omondi has publicly acknowleged that he has two children with different mothers, journalist Jacque Maribe and content creator Lynne Njihia.
The revelation comes amid recent social media discussions and statements made by Lynne regarding her relationship with Omondi.
In a social media post, Lynne proudly declared herself to be the only woman with a child by Eric Omondi.
However, during an interview with Massawe Japanni, Eric Omondi came out clean and acknowledged that he also has a child sired with Jacque Maribe.
“It is my child; I have already talked with Jacque, and I will take him to live with me. He is my son; I have two children. I will teach him, raise him, live with him; he is my child,” Eric stated.
Eric also expressed his desire to reconnect with Jacque for the well-being of their son. He however did not delve into specific details of how this will look like.
Eric also did not provide further details about the dynamics of his relationships with the two mothers of his children.
When asked about the possibility of expanding their family, Lynne responded, “For now, mother of one, daddy of one period.”
The comedian’s admission of his paternity comes a few months after Jacque Maribe posted a photo on social media, accompanied by the Beyoncé song “My Power,” emphasizing her moving on.
Jacque expressed frustration and warned Eric Omondi to come clean about their child.
“I’ve kept quiet for long. This liar called Eric should come correct or I come with receipts. And that’s on period,” Jacque stated.
In the past, Jacque has also been quoted referring to Eric Omondi as a deadbeat dad.
In response to a social media comment inquiring about whether Eric pays child support, Maribe asserted that she is married and therefore doesn’t need Eric’s money.
“Jacque, has this guy started paying child support, or should we do something about it?” a fan had asked.
“I am okay. Why do you think I would need that? I am Mrs. K. That is all. I do not have a problem with child support,” Jacque said.
