Five people have been killed in fatal road accident that occurred in Timboroa, along the Nakuru-Eldoret highway early Thursday morning.
According to police reports, the accident which occurred at Mlango Tatu areain Timboroa at around 01.40 am involved two private vehicles, two PSV buses, and a matatu.
Unfortunately, three victims died on the spot. Their bodies were transferred by police to the Eldama Ravine sub-county hospital morgue.
Twelve (12) people who suffered injuries were rushed to Eldama Ravine hospital. However, two of them succumbed to their injuries while receiving treatment.
Police have asked travellers to be vigilant and exercise caution on the roads as families start returning back to their homes in preparation for the 2024 school and work calendars.
