A collaborative effort by a multi-agency team in Eldoret led to the apprehension of a suspect accused of stealing a vehicle from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).

The team, comprised of officers from DCI Kondele and Turbo, arrested 26-year-old Bethlemew Nabwire Ouma at his residence in Racecourse Estate within Eldoret Township.

According to a statement released on January 30 by the DCI, the multi-agency team, acting on a tip-off, successfully recovered the stolen vehicle – a white Isuzu D-Max with registration number KBN 206V.

“A multi-agency team comprising officers from DCI Kondele and DCI Turbo yesterday evening managed to arrest one suspect, namely Bethlemew Nabwire Ouma, aged 26 years at his residence in Racecourse estate within Eldoret township.”

Upon conducting a search at the suspect’s residence, the multi-agency team uncovered various items, including an assortment of motor vehicle registration plates, ignition keys, and chassis plates, among other things.

The security agency emphasized that both the suspect and the recovered exhibits were transported to the DCI Kondele offices for further police action.
