The Nairobi Law Monthly has tapped the services of veteran journalist and author Nganga Mbugua as it attempts to take the mainstream media head on in the ever changing race for readers.
Mbugua who was the Managing Editor at People Daily started working at the Nairobi Law Monthly at the beginning of the month replacing Kevin Motaroki.
Nairobi Law Monthly is owned by Al Nur Media Group. The company which is chaired by lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi also publishes the Nairobi Business Monthly. It also runs Kenya’s biggest Somali television station RTN TV.
Mbugua has been in charge of People Daily for slightly over a year having taken over from Eric Obino.
Journalist Mayaka Gekara has been chosen to replace Mbugua at People Daily.
