Three pupils from Maadili Junior School tragically lost their lives in a fatal road accident that occurred along the Gitugi-Murang’a road in Murang’a County
The tragic event occurred around 5:00 pm on Saturday when the school bus overturned at the Kawatera area.
The bus was transporting 38 pupils, along with 3 teachers and 2 drivers, who were returning to school after participating in the scouts founders day event in Nyeri County.
Sadly, one pupil lost their life on the spot, while the other two succumbed to their injuries while being rushed to the hospital.
Additionally, five individuals sustained critical injuries and were promptly transferred out of town for specialized medical care.
