Reports have surfaced indicating that British rapper Marcel Somerville has unfollowed his wife, Rebecca Vieira, on Instagram following her public apology for alleged infidelity.
The couple’s marital status came under scrutiny after allegations emerged that Rebecca had exchanged flirtatious messages with US rapper Slim Jxmmi.
Marcel, aged 38, who married the model in August 2022, purportedly ‘moved out of their family home’ and erased any digital traces of her on social media platforms.
Rebecca, in a public post on Saturday, issued a heartfelt apology to her husband, expressing regret for her actions and emphasizing Marcel’s unparalleled importance in her life. Despite her efforts, Marcel reportedly unfollowed her on Instagram and removed recent photos of them together.
In contrast, Rebecca’s latest Instagram post from Saturday features a picture of her with Marcel, accompanied by a caption professing her unwavering love for him.
Acknowledging her error in judgment, Rebecca publicly admitted to making a ‘huge mistake’ in a letter of apology to her husband. She expressed remorse for the embarrassment caused to both Marcel and their families, asserting that her actions were foolish and hurtful.
Following her apology, Rebecca shared an image of their wedding rings engraved with the words ‘Always and forever.’
The following day, Marcel returned to Instagram, sharing a post about faith and divine guidance.
Amidst the turmoil, sources close to Marcel disclosed allegations that Rebecca had been communicating with Slim Jxmmi behind his back. Slim’s ex-girlfriend, known as KD, claimed that Rebecca contacted the rapper after their temporary separation in January, seeking to reignite their past relationship.
Marcel, reportedly devastated by the revelations, has moved out of their family home and is currently residing with friends.
The situation has been further complicated by deleted screenshots allegedly posted by KD, which suggest Rebecca’s involvement with Slim Jxmmi despite her marriage to Marcel.
