Ndindi Nyoro buys 20 million shares at TransCentury

Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has acquired 20 million shares in the infrastructure company TransCentury PLC.

This positions Nyoro as the fourth-largest shareholder in the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE)-listed firm.

According to regulatory filings seen by sauce.co.ke in February 2024, Mr. Nyoro’s ownership translates to a 1.77 % stake, currently valued at Sh8.6 million.

The top shareholders for TransCentury include:

  • Private equity firm Kuramo, 74.06%
  • Anne Pearl Karimi Gachui, 1.90%
  • Michael Gitau Waweru, 1.89%
  • Ndindi Nyoro, 1.77%
  • Others, 20.38%
