Super Metro, known for its disciplined and orderly public transport services, has swiftly responded to a video showing one of their drivers making a risky U-turn on Thika Superhighway and driving against traffic.
The incident, captured in an undated video and reported by Citizen Digital, showed the minibus idling at an angle on the wrong side of the highway before making the turn onto the opposite lane.
In response, Super Metro revealed that the matter had reached the company’s top officials, and immediate action had been taken against the errant driver.
The driver was apprehended by company inspectors, taken to Central Police Station, and later picked up by Pangani Police where the incident was first reported. He will be arraigned in court.
