Two teenage brothers from Kapsilibwa Village in the Choronk area of Sagamian Location, Narok South Sub-County, have tragically taken their own lives by hanging.
The brothers, aged 17 and 19, were found hanging from a tree along the Amalo River.
According to a police report, the motive behind their decision to commit suicide was allegedly due to family issues. It was reported that their father, who had two wives, decided to allocate a piece of land to his elder wife who had been divorced several years ago.
This decision apparently led to a dispute between the brothers and their stepfamily, with threats of violence made against them and their father.
Authorities, including DCI Crime Scene specialists and police officers, visited and processed the scene of the incident. The bodies were subsequently transferred to Longisa County Referral Hospital Mortuary, where they await postmortem examination.
