Gospel musician Wilberforce Musyoka sustained injuries in an accident on Saturday evening at Masimba, Emali along the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway.

The accident occurred when the car he was traveling in collided with another vehicle coming from the opposite direction.

Reports indicate that the other vehicle was transporting the director of a popular restaurant in Makueni County.

Both parties involved in the accident were rushed to a hospital in Kilome, Makueni County, for medical attention.

Musyoka, speaking to the press shortly after being admitted to the hospital, stated that he had suffered minor injuries, particularly a leg injury, as a result of the head-on collision. However, he remained optimistic about his recovery and anticipated being discharged soon.

Unfortunately, it was reported that the individuals accompanying the resort director sustained more severe injuries, with some being life-threatening.

The stretch of road between Salama and Emali on the Nairobi-Mombasa Road has become a hotspot for accidents, with over 10 lives lost in the past month alone.
