Comedian Terence Creative has opened up about his battle with depression, pressure, and anxiety, revealing lesser-known struggles he has faced.
Terence shared these personal challenges while expressing gratitude to Rev Lucy Natasha, who named him as her favorite comedian.
Accepting Rev Natasha’s recognition, Terence acknowledged that despite appearances, all is not well in his life, but he remains hopeful that things will improve with time.
“Thank you so so much for the flowers, this keeps me moving especially at a time like this where I’m struggling with my emotions and depression, pressure, anxiety, fear of the unknown, and over-expectation are trying to have their way in me,” he said in part.
At the same time, Terence encouraged his fans who are also going through the same not to give up.
“But God is faithful coz we get stronger every day and as it is said” if your dreams don’t scare you, then you not dreaming enough“ STOP CRYING, KEEP TRYING #MunguMbelezaidi ??? to anyone out there feeling low, hold on and give it one more try, better days are coming, kutapambazuka,” he said.
During an appearance on Obinna TV, Rev Natasha listed a few Kenyan comedians who are her favorites, with Terence topping the list.
“There are many talented comedians, such as Eric Omondi, Crazy Kennar, and Mammito, but Terence Creative stands out for me. Whenever I’m stressed, I watch Terence Creative. He portrays various characters, and I admire his creativity and versatility,” she said.
Rev Natasha also mentioned MC Jessy as one of her favorites, referring to him as the “apostle of Joy” for his spiritual depth and amazing jokes. However, she emphasized that when she’s feeling stressed, Terence is her go-to for relaxation.
