Lorraine Elizabeth Khalamwa Jelagat Jirongo, daughter of former Lugari MP Cyrus Jirongo, is set to be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the family’s home in Kitale.

A funeral service will be held at AIC Milimani in Nairobi on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, before her body is transported to Kitale for burial.

The 33-year-old Lorraine passed away on March 10, 2025, after a short illness, as confirmed in an obituary published by her family.

She was the daughter of Cyrus Jirongo and Caroline Kittony Waiyaki and a loving mother to Jabari Berur, Michaela Berur, and Aria Jebaibai Berur.

The family has requested privacy as they mourn their beloved Lorraine.
