Content creator Kawira has dismissed speculation that she is romantically involved with controversial preacher Pastor Kanyari, stating that their interactions are purely platonic.
Speaking about the rumors, Kawira made it clear that there is no romantic relationship between them. “Kanyari can never date me. He’s like my dad. Ni ile sometimes huwa tuna flirt tu ya jokes,” she said.

A recent video of Kanyari seemingly touching Kawira inappropriately further stirred controversy. However, addressing the matter, Kanyari downplayed the incident, emphasizing that their relationship is nothing beyond friendly banter.
“I am a joker; those are my children. When I bumped her, it was not serious. Si hata watu wana act sinema? People act movies, and it doesn’t mean they are married. I have to joke with her because she is a baby girl,” he explained.
