A 37-year-old man, identified as Victor Juma, was stabbed and killed by his friend during an altercation in the Kibera slums, Nairobi, on Sunday night.
According to the police, Juma was stabbed in the stomach, leading to severe bleeding and his eventual death. The altercation took place in the Lindi area, but the reasons behind the confrontation remain unclear.
The assailant reportedly pulled out a knife and stabbed Juma fatally in the stomach before fleeing the scene.
Nairobi Regional Police Commander George Sedah confirmed the incident, noting that the victim was rushed to a nearby clinic, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The police have launched an investigation into the murder, and the body has been moved to the mortuary for an autopsy as part of the ongoing investigation.
