Kenyan afro-pop group Matata and award-winning artist Bien are facing a major setback after their hit song “Mpishi” was removed from YouTube due to a copyright issue.
Since its release, *Mpishi* had been trending across multiple platforms and was gaining significant traction among fans both locally and in the diaspora. Before its removal, the song had already hit one million views on YouTube in under two weeks.
Neither Matata nor Bien has issued an official statement explaining the situation.
