The National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) has arrested two suspected bhang traffickers following a successful operation in Machakos County.
The raid, led by NACADA enforcement officers, was launched after the authority received a credible tip-off from members of the public. During the operation, officers seized a significant quantity of illicit substances, including 20 brooms and 87 sticks of bhang. They also recovered various drug-related items such as Rizla rolling papers, a pair of scissors, and an undisclosed amount of cash believed to be proceeds from the illegal trade.
The two suspects have since been arraigned in court to face charges related to trafficking in narcotic drugs.
