The Kenyan basketball community is in mourning following the sudden death of Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) President Paul Otula, who passed away on Thursday morning. According to family sources, Otula succumbed to cardiac arrest at his Nairobi home.
His body has since been moved to the Lee Funeral Home.
Otula was more than a sports administrator — he was a respected academic and a dedicated educator. As the long-serving Principal of Maseno School, one of Kenya’s most prestigious institutions, he was known for promoting both academic excellence and co-curricular growth.
Under his leadership, the school produced well-rounded students and achieved remarkable success in both education and sports.
His death has left a deep void in the education and sports sectors, where he was widely admired for his commitment and vision.
