Ruaraka, Nairobi – Police have launched investigations after the naked body of a teenage girl was discovered about 500 meters from Ruaraka Police Station on Tuesday morning.
According to authorities, the victim, believed to be between 17 and 18 years old, was found lying in an open area, wearing only a blouse on her upper body. A shoelace was tied around her neck, raising suspicions that she may have been strangled before her body was dumped at the location.
Investigators suspect the girl was murdered elsewhere and her body transported to the scene under the cover of darkness.
Her remains were moved to a city mortuary pending autopsy and identification, as police appealed to the public to help identify her.
