Renowned Ugandan musician Weasel Manizo, born Douglas Mayanja, has reportedly been hospitalized at Nsambya Hospital following a serious car accident on Wednesday night in Munyonyo.
Accident Occurred After Dispute at Shan’s Bar
The incident is said to have occurred at Shan’s Bar & Restaurant, a popular nightlife spot in Munyonyo. According to multiple media reports, the accident followed a heated confrontation between Weasel and his long-time partner Sandra Teta.
Witnesses allege that as Teta attempted to drive away from the venue, Weasel positioned himself in front of the vehicle in an effort to prevent her from leaving. Tragically, he was knocked down in the process, reportedly sustaining serious leg injuries.
