Kenyan actress Foi Wambui has rededicated her life to Christ after undergoing baptism on Sunday, August 31, marking a significant milestone in her spiritual journey.
Foi revealed that she first gave her life to Christ in high school about 12 years ago. However, her walk with God has not always been consistent.
“My walk with God has had its ups and downs: seasons of being deeply devout and serving in ministry, and seasons of drifting and trying to fill the Christ-sized void (that He alone can satisfy) with other things,” she shared.
The actress explained that over the past three years, she felt God gently drawing her back to faith. In January 2024, she fully surrendered while praying in her bedroom. A year later, on February 3, 2025, she re-dedicated her life to Christ at the same spot.
Following her baptism, Foi expressed joy and total commitment to her faith.
“Like a wedding ring, this is my public declaration of my faith, my justification and my commitment to a lifelong journey of sanctification with Christ. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect time,” she said.
Foi Wambui is widely known for her roles in Kenyan film and television, and her testimony has inspired many fans who admire her openness about her spiritual growth.
