New York, Sept. 19, 2025 – Grammy Award-winning rapper Cardi B has finally released her second studio album, Am I The Drama?. The highly anticipated project arrives seven years after her groundbreaking debut, Invasion of Privacy.

The new record runs for 70 minutes and includes 23 tracks, blending hip-hop, R&B, Latin, and pop rap. With powerful lyrics, star-studded collaborations, and a mix of personal confessions, Cardi B’s return has already sparked global attention.

Star-Studded Features

The album boasts collaborations with top artists such as Selena Gomez, Summer Walker, Lizzo, Kehlani, and even icon Janet Jackson.

It also includes Cardi’s chart-topping singles “Up” and “WAP”, both of which close out the album.

Songs like Pick It Up with Selena Gomez add a pop rap feel, while Bodega Baddie celebrates Cardi’s Latin roots. Principal, featuring Janet Jackson, samples the legendary 1986 hit The Pleasure Principle.

Strong Opening Tracks

The album opens with “Dead” featuring Summer Walker, setting an intense tone. Cardi follows with “Hello” and “Magnet”, both confidence-filled tracks that radiate it-girl energy.

Later, “Salute” keeps the pace alive, standing out as one of the strongest songs.

Emotional Confession

Midway through the album, Cardi opens up about her divorce from Offset on “Man Of Your Word.” The heartfelt track references cheating scandals and broken promises, marking one of the most personal points in her career.

Although some mid-section songs blend together, they showcase Cardi’s versatility. Check Please revives energy before the standout Janet Jackson collaboration.

Standout Moments

Some of the most talked-about tracks include:

  • “Trophies” – a bold self-empowerment anthem.
  • “Nice Guy” with Tyla – a calmer, soulful piece.
  • “Killin You Hoes” – a theatrical track where Cardi brags about ending rival careers.

Each track adds a unique layer to the album, ensuring it appeals to diverse audiences.

Closing with Viral Hits

The project concludes with her viral singles “Up” and “WAP.” Both dominated social media and the Billboard Hot 100, with WAP sparking one of the most viral TikTok dance trends during the pandemic.

By closing with these songs, Cardi bridges past success with her new era, cementing her legacy in global hip-hop.

Cardi B’s Comeback

Despite years of controversies and public trials, Cardi B proves her resilience. Am I The Drama? is unapologetic, bold, and deeply personal. It shows that Cardi is not just making music — she’s making cultural statements that will define her career for years.
