Popular Kenyan entertainer DJ Pierra Makena has hit back at critics who faulted her choice of dressing during the launch of Mummy Club Nairobi.
Pierra Defends Her Style
The mother of one dismissed the backlash, saying she is unapologetic about her style and confident in her body.
“I love being me. People really hated on me during the launch of Mummy Club Nairobi. Like, that’s just me. People need to relax. I have a good body. I have a big a$$. I need to show it off,” she said.
Social Media Reactions
Her outfit sparked heated conversations online, with some users questioning whether her style is appropriate given her age and the fact that she is a mother to a 9-year-old girl.
Despite the criticism, DJ Pierra maintained that self-expression through fashion is part of her identity and that motherhood should not limit how women choose to dress.
