A Good Samaritan has come to the rescue of two pupils at Kenana Primary School after they were publicly shamed by a teacher for not wearing innerwear.
The well-wisher delivered a sack full of panties to the school days after the incident, which left the sisters traumatized and unwilling to attend classes.
Teacher Publicly Humiliated Pupils
According to reports, the ordeal unfolded last Tuesday when the female teacher allegedly forced one of the sisters to remove a trouser she had worn under her school uniform.
She then dragged the pupil to the staffroom where, in front of about 20 other teachers, she loudly declared that the child was not wearing panties.
The second sister was also subjected to the same treatment, compounding their humiliation.
Learners Fear Returning to School
Following the incident, the sisters have reportedly stayed away from school, citing embarrassment and fear of ridicule from both teachers and peers.
The act has sparked outrage among parents and community members, who are calling for accountability and psychological support for the learners.
