Kitengela, Kajiado County, September 15, 2025 – A 24-year-old woman has been arrested after allegedly stabbing her 38-year-old husband to death during a domestic dispute.
Police reports indicate that the incident occurred on Sunday night, with the man later pronounced dead at Kitengela Sub-County Hospital, where he had been rushed by well-wishers.
Fatal Stabbing
According to investigators, the deceased sustained a knife stab wound to his thigh, reportedly inflicted by his wife of two years.
Detectives recovered a blood-stained knife from the couple’s rented house, which has been secured as key evidence in the case.
Legal Proceedings
The suspect is currently being held at Kitengela Police Station and is expected to be arraigned at the Kajiado Law Courts on Tuesday, where she may face a possible murder charge.
The victim’s body was moved to the Kitengela Sub-County Hospital mortuary, awaiting a post-mortem examination.
Family’s Reaction
The deceased man’s father expressed shock at the tragedy, noting that the cause of the altercation remains unclear.
“We also went to our home. We don’t know what caused the fight between the two leading to my son’s death,” he said.
