The Accident

According to police reports, the officer, a sergeant, was crossing the road at the Parliament Road–Uhuru Highway junction when a speeding saloon car struck him.

The vehicle, which was coming from the Westlands direction, knocked him down and sped off, leaving the officer with severe injuries.

Injuries and Hospitalization

The officer sustained serious head injuries and a fractured right leg. He was rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital, where he was admitted in critical condition.
