Trump Leaves Door Open to Pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell after Supreme Court Denial

Washington D.C. / New York — Former U.S. President Donald Trump has indicated he may consider pardoning Ghislaine Maxwell, the British socialite convicted of aiding child sex trafficking alongside Jeffrey Epstein, after the U.S. Supreme Court declined her appeal. Politico+2Reuters+2

Speaking at the White House, Trump said he hasn’t given the matter much thought recently and pledged to “take a look,” adding he would consult with the Department of Justice (DOJ). Reuters

“I haven’t heard the name in so long. I can say this, that I’d have to take a look at it. I would have to take a look … I will speak to the DOJ.” Reuters

He also revealed that entertainer Sean “Diddy” Combs had requested a pardon — though Trump did not commit either way. Reuters+2News.com.au+2
