Nairobi, Kenya – October 6, 2025 — A video circulating on social media has stirred conversation after a woman publicly accused Mumias East Member of Parliament Peter Salasya of failing to settle what she termed as an “unpaid agreement worth KSh62,000.”

In the short clip, which has been widely shared on X (formerly Twitter) and TikTok, the unidentified woman is seen demanding that the youthful legislator clear the alleged debt.

She did not disclose the nature of the agreement, but the confrontation has ignited mixed reactions online, with users debating the authenticity of her claims and others urging restraint until both sides issue official statements.

Attempts to reach the MP for comment were unsuccessful by the time of publishing.

Public Reaction

The viral video has drawn thousands of comments within hours, with Kenyans on social media divided over the woman’s allegations.
Some users defended the MP, calling for verification of the claims, while others urged public officials to maintain transparency in all personal and professional dealings.

Social media analysts warn that the spread of unverified clips can easily damage reputations, urging Kenyans to verify information before sharing.
