NAIROBI, Kenya, Nov 18 —Kenyan YouTuber-turned-forex trader Thee Pluto has claimed that he has been unable to see his daughter Zoey for more than a year. Pluto says attempts to reach his former partner Felicity Shiru and her family have gone unanswered, leaving him frustrated and concerned about the strained communication.
The former couple announced their breakup in September 2024 after three years together and committed to co-parenting respectfully. Despite this public promise, Pluto now says he has faced a long period of silence.
Calls and Messages Reportedly Ignored
Speaking to Oga Obinna, Pluto said it has become almost impossible to reach Felicity directly. He added that the communication breakdown has extended to Felicity’s family, including her mother.
According to Pluto, even his calls regarding the child’s wellbeing go unanswered.
He questioned the silence, saying, “Because kama simu yangu huchukui as the grandmother of the kid, you don’t know what I want to say. Why can’t you pick up my phone? Why can’t you respond to my messages?”
Pluto Says He Has Tried to Engage Respectfully
Pluto noted that he has made many attempts to communicate respectfully, yet the situation has not improved. He also referenced past discussions around financial expectations, saying he had asked for clarity to avoid misunderstandings.
“I have asked so many times, How much money do you want? Because if it’s about money… I have the messages. I wouldn’t come here and lie,” he said.
Although visibly frustrated, Pluto insisted he would not discuss Felicity personally because she is not present to respond. He explained that his focus remains on respect and the need for healthy co-parenting for the sake of their daughter.
