American internet sensation IShowSpeed has invited Kenyan content creator and prankster Vindee Official to be part of his highly anticipated Speed Does Africa Tour, set to kick off on December 29, 2025.
Vindee Official, a prominent figure in Kenya’s digital content space, is widely known for his daring street pranks and hidden-camera stunts. He rose to fame through his signature “Ndakushanda” series, which features high-adrenaline, provocative interactions with unsuspecting members of the public. His bold style and street credibility have earned him a massive following both locally and internationally.
IShowSpeed, whose real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr., officially announced the 28-day Africa tour, which is sponsored by Expedia. The ambitious project will see the streamer travel across 20 African countries, delivering daily In-Real-Life (IRL) livestreams that showcase local culture, personalities, and experiences.
Born on January 21, 2005, in Cincinnati, Ohio, IShowSpeed began his YouTube journey in 2016, initially streaming NBA 2K content to small audiences. His breakthrough came during the COVID-19 pandemic, when his hyper-energetic personality, dramatic reactions, and viral moments propelled him to global fame. By mid-2022, his channel had surpassed 10 million subscribers.
In recent years, IShowSpeed has transitioned from gaming to global IRL content, fueled in part by his viral support for football star Cristiano Ronaldo. His international livestreams across Europe, Asia, and South America have shattered records, including a September 2024 stream from Indonesia that drew over 1.04 million concurrent viewers, making him the most-watched English-speaking streamer in history.
The Africa tour marks another major milestone in his career, and Vindee Official’s inclusion is being celebrated by Kenyan fans as a major win for local content creators. Many view the collaboration as an opportunity to showcase Kenyan creativity and street culture to a massive global audience.
IShowSpeed has won multiple industry awards, including Breakout Streamer of the Year (2022) and Streamer of the Year at the 2024 and 2025 Streamer Awards, cementing his status as one of the most influential digital creators in the world today.
