George Ruto’s Mood Matatu Unveils IShowSpeed’s Portraits Ahead of Streamer’s Visit

Anticipation is growing across Kenya as fans eagerly await the arrival of world-famous American streamer IShowSpeed, who is currently on a major tour across Africa.

The 20-year-old internet sensation, whose real name is Darren Jason Watkins Jr, has already visited several African countries, including Angola, Zimbabwe, Eswatini, Zambia, Botswana, Mozambique, and South Africa, where his high-energy streams have drawn massive online attention.

IShowSpeed has revealed plans to tour around 20 African nations, with Kenya confirmed among his upcoming destinations. Other countries on his itinerary include Algeria, Benin, Egypt, Ethiopia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, and Zambia. However, the exact travel dates remain flexible due to ongoing logistical arrangements.

Mood Matatu Prepares for IShowSpeed’s Arrival

Ahead of the anticipated Kenyan leg of the tour, Nairobi’s popular Mood Matatu, associated with President William Ruto’s son George Ruto, has unveiled a new back-panel portrait featuring IShowSpeed alongside football legend Cristiano Ronaldo.

In a video shared on social media, Mood’s driver, Lenny, proudly showcased the artwork, sparking excitement among fans and matatu culture enthusiasts.

A sacco official operating along the Embakasi route further revealed that Mood Matatu is expected to ferry IShowSpeed during his time in Nairobi, adding to the hype surrounding the streamer’s visit.

Fans Await Speed’s Kenyan Experience

Known for his energetic personality, spontaneous reactions, and viral moments, IShowSpeed’s African tour has been widely celebrated for showcasing local culture, music, and everyday life to a global audience.

With Kenya now firmly on his travel list, fans are eagerly waiting to see how the streamer will experience Nairobi’s streets, matatu culture, and vibrant entertainment scene once he arrives.
