Cassypool Calls Valentine’s Day a “Scam”

Controversial media personality Cassypool has sparked debate after dismissing Valentine’s Day as a deceptive holiday. In a recent interview that quickly went viral, he referred to February 14th as a “scam,” claiming the day encourages people to lie to one another under the guise of love.

“Valentine’s ni watu wanadanganyana. Hakuna kitu kama Valentine’s day,” Cassypool stated, criticizing the tradition of buying flowers and wearing red just once a year. He argued that true love and appreciation should be expressed daily, rather than concentrated on a single day.

Cassypool pointed to his own lifestyle as an example, emphasizing that he provides luxury experiences for his household throughout the year. He mentioned that his partner regularly enjoys 5-star and 6-star dining and international travel, making a designated “romance day” unnecessary.

He added that individuals who wait for Valentine’s Day to show love are neglecting their daily responsibilities in maintaining meaningful relationships. His remarks have reignited discussions about whether Valentine’s Day is genuine or simply a commercialized event.
