Elderly Woman Found Dead with Multiple Injuries in Suneka, Kisii County

A senior police officer was Monday morning robbed of his pistol in an attack in Kingeero area, Kiambu County.

Police have launched investigations after the body of a 73-year-old woman was discovered inside her home in Motonto, Suneka area.

The deceased, identified as Agnes Mokua, was found with multiple injuries on February 13, raising suspicions of a violent attack.

Body Discovered with Severe Injuries

According to police reports, Mokua had visible injuries on her head, legs, and hands at the time her body was discovered. The nature of the wounds was consistent with assault.

She was rushed to a local hospital, where she was pronounced dead while receiving medical attention.

Police Suspect Foul Play

Investigators believe the elderly woman may have been fatally attacked either inside her house or at a different location before her body was moved back into the residence.

Authorities have since launched a probe to establish the exact circumstances surrounding her death, including identifying possible suspects and motives behind the brutal attack.

The tragic incident has shocked residents of the quiet Suneka neighborhood, with calls for swift justice and enhanced security measures in the area.
