A Nairobi County Member of Parliament has been thrust into the spotlight following the circulation of an alleged private video on social media.
The video was shared by a man identified on Instagram as Moehghai, who claimed he previously had a relationship with the lawmaker. In a series of posts, he alleged that their relationship ended on bad terms and accused the MP of sending him threatening messages after their fallout.
Moehghai described the alleged relationship as having started on a transactional basis before becoming more complicated over time. He further stated that he would hold the MP responsible should any harm come his way.
The claims have not been independently verified, and the MP has yet to publicly respond to the allegations.
The social media personality, who portrays a lavish lifestyle online and identifies himself as a Forex trader, has also come under scrutiny. Online discussions have questioned the source of his income, with some alleging that he operates an adult content account and receives financial support from partners.
The incident has sparked widespread debate online, raising concerns about privacy, cyber harassment and the legal implications of sharing intimate content without consent.
Authorities have not announced any formal investigations into the matter.
