Kenyan gospel singer Ringtone Apoko has opened up about his struggles in finding a life partner, revealing that his repeated attempts at relationships have been unsuccessful.

Speaking in an interview with SPM Buzz on Thursday, April 24, 2026, the singer admitted that despite making deliberate efforts to approach women, express interest, and even court them, he continues to face rejection.

“To be honest, I do not know why ladies do not want anything to do with me. I have made all efforts to speak to women, flirt with them and woo them, but I have seen clearly that they do not want anything to do with me,” he lamented.

Desire for Marriage and Family

Ringtone revealed that he has gone as far as directly approaching women with intentions of marriage but claims most are unwilling to take that step with him. He described the situation as frustrating, especially since he is ready to settle down.

He explained that part of the challenge lies in compatibility, as he has specific qualities he looks for in a partner. According to him, he prefers a God-fearing woman who is ready to commit to a family-oriented lifestyle.

“I am frustrated because I am calling many, asking them to come and marry me, but they are not willing,” he said.

High Expectations in a Partner

The singer also disclosed that he is looking for a partner willing to have a large family, stating that he hopes to have more than seven children. He acknowledged that this expectation may have contributed to the difficulty in finding a suitable match.

Additionally, Ringtone pointed out that he has encountered women he considers overly materialistic, which he believes has further complicated his search for a genuine connection.

“The problem is that some lack the qualities I need, which include being God-fearing,” he added.

Staying Hopeful Despite Challenges

Despite the setbacks, Ringtone maintained that he remains optimistic about finding the right partner. He emphasized that he will stay true to his values and trust that things will eventually work out.

His remarks have sparked mixed reactions online, with some sympathizing with his situation while others debate his expectations in relationships.
