Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) in Kisumu County have arrested three suspects linked to the recent attack on Godfrey Osotsi.

Suspects Identified

The suspects have been identified as Carlos Owiti alias Kalonje (24) from Nyalenda, Eric Otieno alias Dude (39) from Manyatta, and Vincent Odhiambo alias Tinga (27), also from Nyalenda.

They are currently in police custody and are being processed ahead of their arraignment in court.

Attack at Java House

The incident occurred at Java House West End Mall, where the senator was reportedly confronted by a group of armed individuals.

The attack left Osotsi injured, sparking concern and calls for swift investigations.

Breakthrough Through CCTV Footage

According to the DCI, the arrests followed crucial leads from members of the public after CCTV footage capturing the suspects circulated.

The footage reportedly helped identify the assailants, leading to their arrest.

Manhunt for More Suspects

Investigations have since been intensified, with detectives pursuing additional individuals believed to have been involved in the attack.

Authorities say more arrests are expected as efforts to bring all those responsible to justice continue.
