After days of fear, uncertainty and emotional appeals, Linet Adhiambo can finally smile again after her two missing children, Precious and Zanele, were found safe and reunited with their family.
The good news was confirmed by the Missing Child Kenya Foundation, which announced that the children had been successfully recovered through a coordinated placement and reunification process.
“Thank you all for your relentless effort in sharing their details. Truly, it takes a village. God bless you all,” the foundation said in a statement.
Linet had earlier touched the hearts of many Kenyans after emotionally narrating how her children disappeared in Komarock, Nairobi, more than a week ago.
The heartbreaking story sparked widespread concern online, with thousands of Kenyans sharing the children’s photos across social media in efforts to help trace them.
