Victor Kanyari has revealed that he has forgiven social media personality Marion Naipei despite reports that she allegedly returned to drinking alcohol after previously joining the church.

Speaking emotionally before congregants on Sunday, May 10, 2026, Kanyari urged members of his church not to condemn Marion, insisting that the church exists to support people struggling with sin and personal challenges.

“The church belongs to people who are full of sins, and I know Marion will change,” Kanyari said during the service.

The controversial preacher maintained that everyone deserves another chance and expressed confidence that Marion would eventually find her way back spiritually.

Kanyari also appealed to his followers to forgive the social media personality after she reportedly sought forgiveness following recent controversy surrounding her behaviour online.

According to the preacher, Marion should not be rejected because of her mistakes, arguing that the role of the church is to help people heal and transform rather than judge them.

“I am begging you, my congregants, please forgive her because she has asked for forgiveness. Let her stay here,” he said.

Kanyari further disclosed that he intends to continue supporting Marion and helping rebuild her public image.

He said he plans to expose her to more opportunities and connect her with companies that could offer influencing and brand partnership deals as part of helping her rebuild her life and career.

The remarks come days after videos circulated online showing Marion appearing unwell following alleged heavy drinking, reigniting public debate over her wellbeing and recent social media behaviour.
