Stephy Ngujiri has publicly responded to online allegations labeling her a “gold digger” because of her relationship with forex trader Kenyan Prince.
In a statement shared online, Ngujiri dismissed the claims and maintained that she is financially independent.
She clarified that she personally purchased her own electronic devices, including her phone and laptop, rejecting suggestions that her lifestyle is entirely funded by her partner.
Addressing critics directly, the content creator urged people to focus on improving their own lives rather than attacking others online.
“Hata nyinyi tafteni mwenye ako na pesa,” she stated, while criticizing what she described as an outdated “1960s village mentality” surrounding relationships and financial support.
Ngujiri further argued that receiving gifts or dating a financially successful partner does not take away a woman’s independence or personal achievements.
She also called on social media users to avoid spreading baseless negativity and assumptions about other people’s relationships.
The remarks come amid growing online debate over modern relationships, financial dynamics and public perceptions surrounding influencers and wealthy partners.
