A bizarre road accident involving a tuktuk and a saloon car occurred near Gate B of Kenyatta University, drawing attention from shocked motorists and residents.

According to eyewitness accounts, the tuktuk was carrying four large pigs and three men when it was allegedly hit from behind by a saloon car.

Despite the impact, witnesses said all the occupants of the tuktuk, including the animals, escaped without injuries.

The pigs were reportedly removed from the badly damaged tuktuk moments after the crash and were later seen scavenging for food nearby “as if nothing had happened,” amusing onlookers at the scene.

Witnesses further claimed that the tuktuk driver panicked and fled immediately after the accident, allegedly saying he did not have insurance coverage for the vehicle.

It was also alleged that the driver of the saloon car may have been drunk at the time of the collision, although this had not been officially confirmed by authorities.

No official police statement had been released by the time of publication, and it remains unclear whether any arrests were made or if investigations had been launched.
