Paul Ng’eno, the brother of the late Emurua Dikirr MP Johana Ng’eno, has died after battling a prolonged illness, his family has confirmed.
Paul died on Friday, August 21, 2026, while receiving treatment in Eldoret.
His death came just hours after former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua visited the family and pledged to settle his outstanding Ksh1.8 million hospital bill.
According to the family, Paul had been undergoing medical treatment for an extended period before his condition deteriorated.
Reports indicate that he had been receiving treatment following a motorbike accident that occurred some time ago and reportedly affected his spinal cord and throat area.
The family is now mourning another loss following the death of Johana Ng’eno, who served as the Emurua Dikirr MP before his death.
Gachagua had visited the family as part of efforts to support them amid their ongoing medical and financial challenges.
