Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has opened up about her co-parenting arrangement with musician Samidoh, revealing that the two no longer communicate with each other directly.
Speaking during an interview with radio personality Alex Mwakideu, posted on TikTok on August 7, 2026, Nyamu said communication between her and Samidoh is instead handled through her personal assistant and driver.
Nyamu described the arrangement as an unusual approach to co-parenting, noting that she has three children with two different fathers.
“Coparenting yangu ni very funny. I have two baby daddies. Niko na watoto watatu. Nilipata mmoja before akuwe 11 years. Hio naifanya direct. Hii ingine bado sijaanza kuifanya direct. Communication line iko through dereva wangu na PA wangu. Mimi na ex wangu hatuzungumzi,” she said.
The senator also described her separation from Samidoh as one of the easiest breakups she has experienced, although she acknowledged that the split still caused her emotional pain.
Nyamu’s revelation has since attracted attention online, particularly because of the unusual communication arrangement between the former couple as they continue to navigate co-parenting.
Despite not speaking directly, the two remain connected through their parental responsibilities, with their staff serving as the communication bridge between them.
