A family in Lolgorian, Kilgoris Constituency, Narok County, is living in fear after a woman and her eight-month-old baby disappeared under worrying circumstances.
Ruth Jeptoo, a former healthcare worker at Nabiki Clinic-Oloip, was reportedly last seen on Sunday evening leaving her residence with her infant.
The situation became even more concerning after her family discovered a distress note she had allegedly left behind.
Her loved ones have since raised concerns about her wellbeing as efforts to trace her whereabouts continue.
Her phone has reportedly remained switched off, while messages sent to her have gone unanswered.
Residents, relatives and local leaders have joined the search, combing different areas around Lolgorian and other parts of Narok County in the hope of finding Ruth and her young child.
So far, the search has reportedly yielded no major breakthrough, leaving the family increasingly worried about their safety.
